Dr. Catherine Paradis is a Senior Research and Policy Analyst at the Canadian Center on Substance Abuse where she provides leadership for the implementation and the evaluation of the National Alcohol Strategy. For the last 12 months, she has been involved in the evolvement of the Campus Partnership for Alcohol Harm Reduction and the development of its framework. Dr. Paradis is one of the experts responsible for the production of Canada’s Low-Risk Drinking Guidelines. Before joining CCSA, as a Chief Researcher for Éduc’Alcool, she was responsible for all the research necessary to the development of social prevention campaign, information and education. Dr. Paradis’s expertise is in projects conducted in partnership with public, private and non-governmental organizations to improve the health and well-being of Canadians.
